Bratislava – downtown at the end of 2021
The linocut depicts a drone view of Bratislava’s riverfront, showcasing the rapidly developing part of the city. The centerpiece is the modern Eurovea complex, which is becoming the new hub of Bratislava. This area also features the emerging downtown, with the skyline gradually taking shape, including the under-construction first skyscraper in Bratislava. This view of the Danube River and modern architecture symbolizes the connection between the city’s history and future.
Each print is original and hand-printed. A special oil paint is applied to the rubber roller. The paint is applied to the lino with an engraved image with a roller. After placing the paper on the lino, the image is transferred to the paper by pressure.
